TITLE: Business Intelligence Systems Analyst

LOCATION: Hybrid in Alsip, IL on average 1-2days/wk

COMP RANGE: $100,000 - 130,000/year

Griffith Foods is hiring a Business Intelligence Systems Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for building, implementing, and supporting Microsoft BI solutions that provide data, analytics, visualizations, and other tools to deliver data access, trend analysis, and decision support. In addition, this position will help to develop the corporate framework and governance to help drive business intelligence for a global audience.

This is your opportunity to be a part of developing a deep understanding of Griffith Foods business processes, data drivers, and key performance metrics within different functions such as finance, operations, commercial. You will partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making and act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable value.

As a Business Intelligence Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Create BI solutions to support Griffith Businesses worldwide.
  • Assess various ETL requirements to confirm the sources, quality, and definitions of data.
  • Work with business users to understand how the data will be used.
  • Develop SSAS models to support the required analytics.
  • Help to design/implement how the data will be presented/consumed.
  • Optimize all levels of the process (Collection, Modeling and Presentation)

The Business Intelligence Systems Analyst position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Excel at creating written communication materials that effectively summarize findings and support recommendations.
  • Effectively direct quality assurance and user acceptance testing by writing test plans and managing the execution of testing (Unit and UAT)
  • Share in Data Architecture & Systems team's ongoing 2nd/3rd level technical support for supported applications and environments.
  • Successfully develop project plans and provide time estimates on related project work, create and follow timelines and communicate project status(s) within IT.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • B.S. or A.S. degree in systems-related field or equivalent experience * Experience requirement (number of years & area of experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in database design and/or business analysis with strong skills in analytics and Tabular and OLAP cube development.
  • In-depth experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS).
  • The emphasis of this experience should be within Data Modeling (SSAS), Collection and Presentation.
  • Technical experience includes the following:
  • Microsoft SQL Analysis Server
  • SQL Relational Database and SQL Language
  • Microsoft PowerBI, or other Visualization tool experience.
  • Powerview

Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available (including student visas) for this role.

  • Azure Experience
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or product development environments a plus.
  • Distribution, Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Capital Asset Management, Pricing and Job Costing
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics

There is potential for a discretionary bonus, with a target of 6%. This bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
