Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Salinas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, with responsibilities that may include mobile patrols throughout the property. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or hazard concerns, and report observations to the appropriate personnel to help support daily operations.
• Assist with access control, crowd flow, and/or closing procedures as directed, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support an orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
