The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of detail, such as: diagnostic/screening mammography procedures, localizations, and stereotactic biopsies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Qualifications: Required:
Essential Functions: * Produces diagnostic procedures in an efficient and cost effective manner. * Actively directs activities towards full compliance and accreditation with ACR, MQSA, NJ State DEP and TJC. * Effectively uses A.I.D.E.T. and explains the procedure to the patients with asking pertinent questions regarding clinical information, history, D.O.B. and for female patients of reproductive age if they are pregnant or breast feeding and their LMP. * Consistently assists the Radiologists and Surgeon in procedures in a professional and competent manner. * Consistently adheres to all Radiation Safety requirements, including the use of radiation protective devices at all times. * Consistently reviews scripts and orders with all pertinent and correct information. * Consistently starts and completes all exams in a timely fashion. * Orders supplies as needed for the department. * Consistently follows direction given from Supervisor. * Cover front desk. * Answering phones, retrieving messages and faxing reports.
