Compensation:

This position will actively support the testing of healthcare products crucial topatient'ssafety efforts within the healthcare industry.Acandidateforthis positionwill perform sample preparationandanalytical testing by gasand liquid chromatography using a variety of detectors and introduction techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for analysis by GC,LC, MS,GC-MSand othertechniques
  • Load samples and methods on GC, LC, and other chromatographicinstrumentation
  • Perform data analysis and quantitation for characterization ofsamples
  • Perform basic lab procedures (wet chemistry, pH, dilutions, extractions, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot chromatographic instrumentation asneeded

Qualifications:

  • BS in Chemistry or related science
  • Minimum 1 year of chromatography experience
  • Experience working with and troubleshooting HPLC and GCpreferred.
  • Experience withChemstation,OpenLaborMasshunterwould be preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment
  • Ability to meet deadlines andmultitask
  • Flexibility with changing priorities
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Minitab)

This position will require good time management skills and a high level of independence after the training phase.Good organizational skills, recordkeepingand follow through will be integral to success. The candidate will need to communicate effectively verbally and by e-mail.
