Requirements:

• 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience with ERP, MRP, or MRP II systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems preferred
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments
• Experience in GMP or medical device manufacturing is a plus

Job Duties:

• Generate purchase orders and procure materials to support production schedules
• Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and on-time delivery metrics
• Update and maintain purchase order delivery dates to ensure accurate ETAs
• Review inventory reports and proactively address material shortages
• Coordinate new vendor setup and manage excess material disposition
• Confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and expedite orders when necessary
• Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Coordinate return and replacement of non-conforming materials with suppliers and Quality Assurance
• Analyze freight costs and transportation methods to identify cost-effective shipping solutions
• Maintain purchasing records and ensure compliance with company and ISO procedures
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions related to purchasing and supply chain issues
