We are seeking a Navy Missile Engineer Liaison to join our team to support Mid-Range Capability (MRC) within the Advanced Fires Program Office. #FC #MC Responsibilities Your day-to-day work will include: Act as the central communication point between Navy program offices, Army program teams, fleet operators, systems engineers, and contractors supporting the SM-6 missile and AEGIS Weapon System. Provide the United States Army with systems-level engineering expertise for the U.S. Navy's AEGIS Weapon System while ensuring compliance with requirements, policies, and technical standards across both organizations. Coordinate between the Army and Navy to identify, validate, and maintain SM-6 missile requirements, quantities, capabilities, and future procurement needs in support of Army Mid-Range Capability (MRC) objectives, and serve as the primary point of contact between the Army and Navy for the MRC Program Office. Support planning, execution, and documentation of tests, evaluations, and demonstrations related to SM-6 performance, integration, and fleet/Army readiness. Develop and maintain inter-service written agreements, memorandums, and technical coordination documents necessary for joint program execution, and develop, coordinate, and maintain SM-6 funding strategies, spend plans, and budget requirements to support procurement, integration, testing, sustainment, and lifecycle management activities across Army and Navy stakeholders. Ensure the MRC program is able to purchase, maintain, store, test, and employ SM-6 missiles while fully meeting Navy requirements, certifications, and standards. Work with multiple industry partners to explore engineering solutions that overcome technical obstacles and ensure program objectives are met on schedule, and track and coordinate resolution of technical issues, discrepancies, or sustainment concerns reported by Army users, Navy stakeholders, or test teams. Prepare and deliver briefings, technical reports, and status updates to Navy and Army leadership, and collaborate with logistics, training, and sustainment teams to support fielding activities, configuration management, and lifecycle maintenance planning. Maintain awareness of program schedules, funding profiles, spend plans, cost considerations, and technical baselines to assist in long-term planning, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.
