ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:




  • Authorized to screen hourly applicants and may conduct/ participate in the interviewing process,
  • Upon approval from the HR Manager, authorized to extend offers to hourly personnel,
  • Authorized to enroll hourly employees in all company benefits according to schedule,
  • Authorized to interface with employees to provide assistance in answering benefit questions and solving problems,
  • Screen all accident reports, participate in 8D activities and maintain the OSHA Log,
  • Conduct background and reference checks,
  • Schedule and coordinate orientation for new hires,
  • Conduct new hire orientation segments as required,
  • Authorized to place/post classifieds on web sites,
  • Authorized to place advertising for hiring purposes,
  • Maintain correct and updated weekly interaction on the Ultipro System,
  • Place newspaper ads,
  • Coordinate hiring with corporate administer for web site placement,
  • Will initiate payroll and payroll changes as it relates to shift changes, terminations, payroll increases, department changes, and promotions,
  • Keeps track of absenteeism on a daily basis using the point system/ appropriate soft ware,
  • Hourly insurance responsibilities including open enrollment, resolving insurance issues,
  • Release/ Monitoring of hourly employee's evaluations in UltiPro,
  • Entering/ Tracking training as appropriate in Plex, and
  • Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFACTIONS REQUIREMENTS:

A college degree preferably in the field of human resources or a related field. Should also have at least on year experience in the field of human resources.

SPECIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:

Computer literate.

MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

The employee is required to regularly spend time on the manufacturing plant floor with prolonged standing, walking and exposure to typical production environment (Noise, PPE Use and Occasional Lifting. Visual activity for reading documents, computer screens, and office machines is also required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normally works in an office environment. Exposed to factory fumes, noise, etc... upon occasion.
