Data Center Technician (IT Technician) Launch Your Career in Critical Infrastructure Looking to break into the fast-growing data center industry? In this hands-on role, you'll work with cutting-edge hardware and network infrastructure, supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, racks, cabling, and critical IT equipment inside a state-of-the-art data center environment. What You'll Do * Install, rack, stack, cable, and deploy servers, switches, and other data center equipment. * Perform equipment startups, shutdowns, upgrades, and hardware replacements. * Troubleshoot hardware, networking, and infrastructure issues and resolve them efficiently. * Conduct quality checks to ensure equipment, cabling, labeling, and grounding meet operational and safety standards. * Support structured cabling installations and network infrastructure projects. * Follow established procedures for documenting, reporting, and escalating issues. * Work closely with experienced technicians and engineering teams to support data center operations. What We're Looking For * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. * 1+ year of experience supporting IT hardware, network equipment, or low-voltage cabling. * Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and networking equipment. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, secure environment. * Flexibility to support occasional weekends, holidays, or off-hours work. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $45.00/hr.
