Job Title: Assembler 1 Reporting To: Production Manager Work Schedule: Onsite - Salt Lake City, UT Moog Medical Devices Groupdesigns, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. These advanced infusion systems improve medication/patient safety, optimize application performance, reduce medical expenses and SAVE LIVES. Our Medical Devices team in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a skilled Assembler to join their dynamic team. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative work environment. As an Assembler I, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for: Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis Cross training on multiple production lines To be considered for this Assembler I role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you.... Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems preferred 1+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Medical Devices experience preferred Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and device instructions, both written and verbal.
