Overview

Under the guidance of the Private Client Services Manager, the Private Client Service Specialist responsible for portfolio management for the highest segment of our Private Banking portfolio as defined by income and investable asset levels. The Private Client Service Specialist is responsible for deepening client relationships by delivering exceptional advice and service to high net worth clients. The ability to balance new business activities and servicing existing relationships will be critical to this role. Will periodically accompany PBRM and/or OneJFG partner on business development calls or attend client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a distinctive client experience that leverages our unique value proposition through banking products, financial planning and advisory services.
  • Thorough management of complex financial solutions; including communication, implementation, maintenance and on-going administration of the client relationship.
  • Participate in collaborative teams of specialists to deliver comprehensive advice and solutions spanning banking, wealth and insurance for both commercial and individual clients.
  • Provides accurate financial and statistical analysis as well as sound risk assessment of new and existing bank customers.
  • Ongoing development and execution of an individual business plan to achieve new business development, client referral and retention objectives
  • Manages lending processes from start to finish including the "tickler" reports and deposit origination and maintenance requirements for assigned portfolio and the portfolio of RM's assigned to assist.
  • Execution of our comprehensive sales process which includes successful prospecting, planning and gaining new business with timely and effective documentation in the CRM system.
  • Knowledge of full portfolio of JFG products and services; actively cross-sells full breadth and depth of products. Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales, cross-sales and referral goals.
  • Expand new and existing relationships by advising and recommending appropriate solutions that will exceed client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners to expand customer relationships across all lines of business.
  • Meets or exceeds client retention goals.
  • Applies sound judgment, innovation and appropriate creativity in management of client relationships.
  • Participate in an active and meaningful role in a community or industry organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience working with affluent clientele. Bachelor's Degree preferred. A combination of appropriate education and experience will be considered.
  • Working knowledge of lending policies and procedures, principles, and philosophy.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing credit software to capture credit applications; ability to effectively utilize Bank Operating Systems; and above-average PC skills including MS Office Applications.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make timely, sound recommendations to management while ensuring bank policies and procedures are met.
  • Working knowledge of general business and industry trends, risk management, etc.
  • Industry specific professional certifications highly desired; CWS or CFP
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the Safe Act of 2008 required.
