We have an exciting opening for a Quality Inspector on 1st shift for our paint line. on 2nd shift in Enumclaw, WA. This position we are seeking a responsible team member to perform final quality inspections and coordinate with all departments for Quality Improvement. Support various paint functions including grit blasting.

Your responsibilities

* Uses a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for painting.
* Regularly cranes (electric and pneumatic) move Parker products for painting and to prep for shipping.
* Assist painters at cure ovens to maintain flow of parts.
* Performs touch up paintwork as directed by painters.
* Transfer rails to maintain flow of parts.
* Assists upper-level painters in cleaning, organizing and maintaining the work areas and equipment.
* Assists with packaging and shipping products to customers.
* Maintains a clean work area and assists in departmental housekeeping.
* Comply with safety procedures and company policies.
* Completes additional duties and projects assigned.
* Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs
* Operate and maintain Grit Blast process.

Who we are looking for

* High School Diploma or G.E.D
* Minimum of 1-year prior experience in manufacturing, experience with paint or quality inspection preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
* Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
* Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
* Needs a high level of attention to detail
* Cross training of paint functions to include Grit Blasting within 6 months.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $30.29/hr to $35.95/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
