Job Title: App Dev - .NET - Guru

Location(s): Richmond | McLean VA | Hybrid

Duration: 12 Months Assignment with possibility of extension

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an App Dev - .NET - Guru. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET development, cloud transformation, and system design, and will thrive in a collaborative Agile/Scrum environment.

• Enterprise Development: Architect, design, and build scalable backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
• Cloud Transformation: Drive the migration and modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
• System Design: Design robust, secure, and maintainable systems utilizing object-oriented principles and microservices.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality by implementing automated unit tests, conducting peer code reviews, and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Production Support: Troubleshoot production issues and maintain high system availability and performance.

• Experience: Typically 5 to 10 years of professional full-stack or backend .NET development experience.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Databases: Strong hands-on experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, T-SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, Docker).

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Modern Tooling: Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React) and cloud environments.
• Agile Leadership: 2 years of experience in Agile practices and a proven ability to mentor junior developers or lead technical teams.
