Location: Tempe, AZ
Employment Type: Contract (12 months)
Industry: Aerospace and Defense
Compensation: $19.50 /hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week. - (1 st shift)
About the Opportunity:
  • Tube Assembly operators perform day-to-day production activities by using the most current procedures to maintain production schedules.
  • Use hand tools, spot welders, microscopes, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble products using detailed documented procedures.

What You'll Do:
  • Follow all policies, procedures, and drawings for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform visual checks of the product to assure quality.
  • Identify non-conforming parts following documented procedures.
  • Meet manufacturing output requirements while producing high-quality products.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of experience in reading drawings/blueprints/work instructions.
What Sets You Apart:
  • 1+ year of experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to work alone and with others in a team environment under minimal supervision to accomplish department goals.
  • Have good problem-solving, analytical skills, adaptability, and flexibility.
  • Have good computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to clearly read and write in English.
  • Good hand/eye coordination.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Good historical attendance record with minimal unscheduled call-offs.
  • Self-driven to complete goals and tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to become familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control).
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Ability to wear needed PPE to fulfill shift duties: smock, hairnet, gloves, facemask, and safety glasses.
  • Ability to lift 3-5 lbs. and complete repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Work a 12-hour, compressed work week schedule with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
