Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our security business unit. The Inside Sales Representative's primary function is the marketing and selling of service offerings and service contract renewals to end users of low voltage technology systems, including but not limited to audiovisual, fire alarm, security, and nurse call systems within an assigned territory. The successful candidate will work closely with the greater sales team, customers, and other internal departments to optimize operational efficiency and ensure that sales orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The Inside Sales Representative will also be responsible for handling transactional sales, customer inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Achieve revenue and gross margin targets set by management, with primary focus on service contracts and recurring revenue opportunities.
  • Manage renewals of larger contracts where applicable - to include scope revisions and pricing negotiations as directed by management.
  • Present timely proposals and maintain accurate record of account activity pipeline in company CRM software.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within existing customer base for promotion of additional products and services.
  • Identify and develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, analysis of existing customer database, and marketing campaigns.
  • Initiate sales process by proactively contacting existing customer base, following up on leads, and engaging in needs analysis.
  • Follow up with customers appropriately to ensure high closure rate. Communicate results to Sales and Business Development.
  • Interface effectively with clients and peers, as well as executive level management.
  • Attend sales group meetings concerning sales targets and forecasts, reporting on market situation.
  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner.


Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales support or a related field.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and order management systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.


Salary: $65-75k base + comp plan, depending on experience
