Carpenter

Position Summary: The Carpenters construct, repair or modify building systems to include metal framed partitions, doors/frame/hardware, drywall, flooring, ceiling systems, millwork, and concrete work.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
• Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
• Measure, cut, install metal studs, drywall, wood blocking, ceilings, flooring, formwork, and other materials
• Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis
• Layout and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and door systems.
• Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
• Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures, with minor demolition

• Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
• Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
• Participate in site housekeeping
• Safely operate multiple types of power tools
• Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
• Perform additional duties as directed by Management
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• At times may perform clerical/administrative duties

Educational & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or relevant work experience
• 5 years of field experience
• OSHA 10 Certification
