JOB DESCRIPTION
The Technical Product Owner (Product Manager I) supports the delivery of technology products and platform capabilities by translating business needs, customer priorities, and technical requirements into clear, actionable work for delivery teams. This role requires strong knowledge of application integration, platform services, and technical development concepts to help shape product requirements, manage backlogs, prioritize features, and ensure solutions are delivered with quality, reliability, and measurable business value. This position works closely with Functional Product Management, Application Development, Platform Engineering, Security, Operations, and business stakeholders to define scope, manage dependencies, remove blockers, and communicate progress. The Technical Product Owner helps guide agile planning and execution, ensures work meets functional and technical expectations, and uses product and delivery metrics to drive continuous improvement. This role primarily supports internal platform products and engineering capabilities rather than customer-facing applications. RESPONSIBILITIES

Base Pay Information The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. Pay Grade 21 $81,265.00 - $176,073 Nationally, actual pay may vary.
