As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to property management and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or mobile patrols throughout building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, loading zones, and/or other high-traffic spaces to help to deter disruptions, support tenant needs, and document security-related incidents or policy violations.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs, and relay important updates during shift transitions to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
