Requisition Number:R160033 PATIENT SERVICES COORDINATOR - Oncology Navigation (Open) How You'll Help Transform Healthcare:The Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) for Oncology Navigation serves as a central point of contact for patients entering and moving through the care continuum, ensuring a seamless, timely, and patient-centered experience. This role is responsible for coordinating administrative and access-related functions including referral intake, scheduling, registration accuracy, and communication across multidisciplinary teams. The PSC works closely with Access Navigators, Clinic Navigators/staff, and Service Line Coordinators to facilitate efficient patient flow, remove barriers to care, and support timely progression from referral to treatment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, optimizing scheduling workflows, and ensuring that patients are appropriately prepared for upcoming appointments and services. Through strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service, the PSC helps reduce delays, improve access to care, and enhance the overall patient experience. The Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) serves as a vital liaison between cancer patients and the healthcare system, ensuring seamless access to care and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. The PSC manages essential administrative functions that promote efficient and compassionate patient flow, while actively working to eliminate barriers to care. The PSC works closely with oncology navigation staff as a dedicated team player, fostering a supportive environment that alleviates fear and illuminates the path forward for each patient.
