About the Role

Culmen International is looking for a Research Analyst to support our work with the Defense Health Agency in Silver Springs, MD.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

The Research Analyst provides scientific and programmatic support for psychological health research, surveillance activities, evidence reviews, and research portfolio management. The analyst conducts literature reviews, environmental scans, research gap analyses, and evidence synthesis to inform military psychological health programs, clinical practice, and policy decisions.

    Conduct systematic and rapid evidence reviews on psychological health topics.
  • Perform research gap analyses and develop evidence synthesis products.
  • Support development of research methods reports, white papers, and journal manuscripts.
  • Analyze behavioral health program data and research findings.
  • Develop data collection instruments and research protocols.
  • Support project management activities, including progress reports and tasker responses.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and DoD stakeholders to identify emerging research needs.
  • Evidence synthesis products

  • Project reports and activity logs


Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Public Health, Health Services Research, or related field.
  • Experience conducting literature reviews and evidence synthesis.
  • Familiarity with military or veteran psychological health issues.
  • Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
  • Public Trust; contract requires US Citizenship.
