Description
SCI Technology, Inc. is seeking aCOMSECCustodianto manage the lifecycle of cryptographic products and materials. This role ensures the protection of classified information and enables secure communications for critical defense programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strict administration of cryptographic accounts in compliance with national security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Accountability & Documentation:Maintain 100% accountability of allCOMSEC/Cryptographic material. Expertly manageSF-153(COMSECMaterial Report) forms for all receipts, transfers, destructions, and inventories.
System of Record Administration:Utilize the authorizedsystem of recordto accurately track, enter, and extract data for physical and electronicCOMSEC/Crypto material transactions.
Material Lifecycle Management:Order, safeguard, and account for Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCIs). Disseminate, inventory, and destroy keying material in accordance with authorized channels and program requirements.
Compliance & Auditing:Conduct semi-annual inventories of accountable material and documentation. Perform and document audits of encryption devices to ensure user compliance.
Logistics & Support:Perform courier duties and manage the secure wrapping and marking of outgoing packages per NSA and Customer policy.
Technical Operations:Configure, load, and maintain CCI equipment using common fill devices (e.g.,SKLs).
Training:Provide specializedCOMSECtraining to users and ensure all program-specific security procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Security Clearance:ActiveSecretsecurity clearance required prior to start.
Experience:Prior experience as aCOMSECCustodian or Alternate, with specific proficiency in managing theofficial system of recordand the execution ofSF-153documentation.
Training:Must be able to complete the NSACOMSECcourse within 6 months of hire.
Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with NSA 3-16COMSECdirectives, CNSSI manuals (4001, 4003, 4004.1, 4005), and NISPOM.
Desired Skills:
High attention to detail regarding cryptographic accounting,ordering, and record-keeping.
Ability to apply government security requirements in complex, multi-level secure environments to ensure program compliance.
Knowledge of cleared contractor operations, including physical and technical security requirements.
