Join our dynamic team on Ellison 10, a 36-bed adult Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit, offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This unit provides intermediate-level care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, including those with arrhythmias, unstable coronary syndromes, heart failure, and complex vascular and medical conditions. Nurses deliver specialized care to patients undergoing coronary and peripheral procedures, electrophysiology interventions, and other advanced cardiac treatments, making this an ideal role for those looking to expand their clinical expertise. Ellison 10 is also a designated teaching unit, giving staff the unique opportunity to collaborate with and support medical residents as they develop their skills in managing complex cardiac cases. With a strong emphasis on high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive team model, this role offers 12-hour shifts, self-scheduling flexibility, and the chance to broaden experience by working on a similar unit (Ellison 11) when needed-making it a rewarding and growth-oriented opportunity for motivated nurses. Summary Accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, assessment of patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, assuring nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care for groups of patients.
