Job Description

The Manager, Global Sales Compensation Operations role requires a detail-oriented and process-driven person who will help transform the administration and optimization of Visa's Sales Compensation Program by driving operational efficiencies. This role will perform critical day-to-day activities to support sales compensation initiatives.

This role is a key business partner ensuring execution of incentive plans are performed with timeliness, accuracy, and transparency in support of driving revenue and employee engagement. The candidate must have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to partner effectively with numerous stakeholders across business units, commercial operations peers, and sales and executive leadership at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and perform activities for the accurate and timely processing of incentive calculations, validations, and payments.
  • Review and perform any activities for participants regarding SIP Plan, Quota, and/or crediting changes.
  • Research and resolve any issues or disputes related to sales credit and incentive payments and ensure compliance with the company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the sales operations, finance, legal, total rewards, and people teams to support sales compensation processes and initiatives.
  • Identify improvements to help increase efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the leadership team in various ad hoc projects to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy of business processes.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis as needed
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • At least 5 years of sales compensation, sales operations, and/or finance experience with progressively increasing responsibility and complexity of work
  • Working knowledge of Incentive Management Compensation Tools such as Xactly, NICE, Callidus, Varicent, CaptivateIQ, or others
  • Knowledge of sales incentive compensation concepts, sales data tracking processes, and methodologies
  • Proficient in using advanced functions and formulas in Excel and data validation
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining complex spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and reports that present data in a clear and accurate manner
  • Ability to manipulate, visualize, and interpret large and complex data sets
  • Perform data quality checks, data cleansing, data transformation, and data integration tasks using various tools and techniques
  • Capable of communicating data findings and recommendations effectively to various stakeholders using oral, written, and graphical formats
  • Experience in business process improvement, with the ability to identify and implement process changes that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience, certification in six sigma preferred
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with exemplary organization skills, must possess "can do" attitude
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully executing against tight deadlines, with a collaboration mind-set
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and quality-focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Experience in working with cross-functional/cross-departmental and virtual teams

The estimated salary range for this positionis $121,100.00 to $ 193,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Travel Requirements

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
