Security Officer - Distribution Site

As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in Elloree, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support daily operations through routine patrols, quick observation, and professional interactions, while reflecting Allied Universal's caring culture, teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery processing in accordance with site policies.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing daily operations, reporting suspicious behavior, and helping to address policy violations and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
