The Power Platform Technical Lead will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, while providing direct oversight and leadership to Power Platform developers. This role requires hands-on expertise in Azure, Power Automate, and Power BI, and blends solution architecture, technical execution, and team leadership. The Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring developers follow best practices, delivering scalable and secure solutions, and aligning technical delivery with business objectives through close collaboration with stakeholders and architects. Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day technical oversight of developers, including task guidance, code quality, solution consistency, and delivery standards. * Lead the architecture, design, and development of Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards. * Remain hands-on with development, integration, troubleshooting, and complex solution builds while serving as the technical escalation point for the team. * Design and implement integrations between Power Platform solutions and Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, APIs, Dataverse). * Establish and enforce Power Platform and Azure best practices, standards, and governance across the development team. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. * Conduct regular code reviews and solution assessments to ensure performance, security, scalability, and compliance requirements are met. * Mentor, coach, and support developers and analysts, contributing to skill development, technical growth, and team maturity. * Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and development standards. * Partner with QA, business analysts, and project teams to ensure timely and successful solution delivery. * Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and analytics enhancements, recommending improvements and modernization opportunities. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in application development or technical leadership, with a strong focus on Microsoft Power Platform. * Proven experience leading and overseeing developers, including mentoring, reviewing work, and ensuring delivery quality. * Hands-on expertise with: * Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven) * Power Automate (cloud flows, integrations, approvals) * Power BI (data models, DAX, dashboards, and reporting) * Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Azure services and enterprise systems. * Strong understanding of solution architecture, data modeling, security, and governance within Microsoft ecosystems. * Ability to balance people leadership with hands-on technical contribution. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Microsoft Power Platform and/or Azure certifications strongly preferred. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Honolulu, HI. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $76.00/hr.
