*Banking Operations Specialist - Online Banking & Wire Processing* *Location:* Cherry Creek (Onsite)
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday | 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM *Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented Banking Operations Specialist to support online banking enrollment and wire processing within a fast-paced financial institution. This role is ideal for individuals with prior banking or credit union experience who are looking to transition from a branch environment into back-office operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client account setup, supporting internal banking teams, and maintaining compliance with operational and regulatory standards. *Key Responsibilities* * Process and set up business online banking profiles, ensuring accurate entry of client documentation into internal banking systems. * Review and validate wire transfer requests and deposit activity, identifying discrepancies, potential fraud risks, or documentation issues. * Maintain a high level of accuracy when handling sensitive financial and legal documentation. * Serve as a point of contact for bankers, providing guidance on documentation requirements, system processes, and issue resolution via phone, email, and internal messaging platforms. * Manage multiple shared inboxes (Commercial & Treasury) and respond to high-volume inquiries in a timely and professional manner. * Utilize Excel to track, monitor, and reconcile operational data and logs. * Collaborate with internal teams, including wire transfer and treasury departments, to ensure seamless processing and communication. *Required Qualifications* * 1-3 years of banking or credit union experience, with exposure to: * Online banking systems * Wire transfers and/or deposit processing * Strong understanding of financial transactions, including risk indicators such as fraud or account holds. * Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. * Professional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with branch staff, leadership, and cross-functional teams. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience in roles such as Teller, Universal Banker, or Personal Banker, looking to move into operations. * Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills. *Work Environment* * Onsite role in a professional office setting located in Cherry Creek. * Collaborative team environment (7 team members, including dedicated wire specialists). * Business casual dress code. * Opportunity for long-term growth and permanent placement based on performance. *Why This Role?* This is a strong opportunity for banking professionals to expand into operations, develop expertise in wire processing and online banking systems, and grow within a stable financial institution.
