Job Title: Patient Service Representative Location(s): Brisbane, CA (Hybrid: 1-2 times per month) Job Summary: The Patient Service Representative supports Ambulatory Clinical Home Teams within a high-volume call center environment. This role is responsible for handling patient calls, providing administrative support, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle approximately 50+ inbound calls per day.
- Support ambulatory clinical care teams through call center operations.
- Schedule appointments and assist patients with inquiries.
- Perform administrative and data entry tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
- Utilize computer systems and electronic health record platforms, including APeX when applicable.
- Provide professional customer service and communication support.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience; OR
- College degree with 6 months of related experience; OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- APeX/Epic experience preferred.
- Previous call center, healthcare customer service, patient access, or administrative experience preferred.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to manage a high call volume efficiently and professionally.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid role with onsite attendance required 1-2 times per month, including onsite onboarding.
Shift Schedule:
- Either 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (to be determined).
