Description We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in Cisco networking technologies and VMware virtualization to support and maintain enterprise network and virtual infrastructure environment. This role focuses on daytoday operations, troubleshooting, and stability of onpremises and hybrid systems while collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams. Key Responsibilities Implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco technologies Administer and support VMware environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter, and virtual networking Monitor network and virtual infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, and virtualization issues Maintain network security configurations, including firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and segmentation Configure and support VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), QoS, and highavailability environments Support virtual switches (vDS), port groups, and VM networking Participate in disaster recovery testing and execution Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and operating procedures Coordinate with systems, cloud, and security teams on operational tasks Provide Tier 3 support and participate in oncall rotations as required Required Qualifications 7+ years of handson network engineering experience Strong experience with Cisco technologies: oCisco IOS/XE oRouters and switches (Catalyst, Nexus preferred) oFirewalls (ASA, Firepower, or equivalent) Solid experience with VMware: oVMware ESXi ovCenter Server oVMware virtual networking Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, SNMP Experience using network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher) VMware certifications (VCP or higher) Experience supporting: oSDWAN environments oNetwork automation or scripting oCloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) oLarge or hybrid enterprise environments Skills* Cisco, vmware, Troubleshooting, Network engineering, operational support, Ccna, CCNP, VCP, Cloud networking, SD-Wan, scripting Top Skills Details Cisco,vmware,Troubleshooting,Network engineering,operational support Additional Skills & Qualifications A resourceful, proactive professional with strong communication and customer service skills who takes initiative and values mentoring others. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
