Note: This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Hoboken, NJ We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to build, execute, and manage high-impact advertising solutions. In this role, you will handle end-to-end omnichannel ad campaigns across both managed and self-service channels. You will lead campaign setup, pacing, optimization, and reporting, providing strategic insights and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction. This position blends strategic planning with tactical execution. You will translate brand marketing goals into actionable media strategies that deliver measurable results. As a subject matter expert in media planning and platform activation, you will manage day-to-day client interactions and contribute to revenue growth through proactive, strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute managed-service and self-service campaigns, acting as a consultative expert for your client portfolio.
- Media Proposal Development: Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to develop data-driven media proposals aligned with specific client objectives.
- Client Management: Lead external advertiser and agency calls, demonstrating expertise in media tactics, audience strategy, and campaign stewardship.
- Omnichannel Expertise: Deeply understand and apply diverse media types, including paid search, programmatic display, direct digital sponsorships, CTV, social media, digital OOH, and experiential in-store tactics.
- Performance Analysis: Communicate campaign performance metrics, insights, and optimization recommendations regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere to internal SLAs and QA processes to ensure seamless campaign launches and high-quality client experiences.
- Revenue Growth: Confidently present strategic upsell recommendations and demonstrate strong executive presence when identifying opportunities for incremental revenue.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with internal teams to traffic campaigns effectively across various ad technology platforms and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of client accounts.
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns (audience targeting, budget allocation, bid strategies).
- Monitor daily campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve KPIs.
- Develop and deliver performance reports, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with sales, creative, product, and yield teams to align on strategy and assets.
- Oversee budgets, pacing, and forecasting to ensure efficient spend and goal alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience managing or consulting on digital media campaigns (Display, Video, Social, Search, and Programmatic).
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital media metrics (CPM, ROAS, CPC, CTR, etc.) and media math for optimization.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication with strong presentation skills and proven client-facing experience.
- Project Management: Ability to thrive under pressure, navigate ambiguous situations, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Software Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Familiarity with Salesforce, JIRA, Tableau, SQL, or Power BI is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in programmatic advertising, including knowledge of DSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
- A proven track record of influencing advertiser investments through strategic media recommendations.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.00 to $49.00. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
