Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital (formerly known as Beaumont Health) seeks a highly skilled and compassionate physician to join the employed Transplant Nephrology faculty based in the Royal Oak. MI campus, approximately 30 minutes outside Detroit.

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is a large academic medical center with more than a thousand inpatient beds and serves as a tertiary referral center for the geographical area. The hospital is located in Oakland County, MI, an area well known for its top-rated schools and neighborhoods, diverse communities, affordable cost of living, and extensive recreational opportunities.

The William Beaumont University Hospital Transplant Center's Kidney Transplant Program has successfully performed thousands of kidney transplants since 1972, with current volumes approaching a hundred kidney transplants a year. We offer highly innovative protocols and outstanding outcomes with three-year patient and graft survival rates that are the best in Michigan & among the best in the nation.

This position is for a 4th transplant nephrologist and requires a full-time transplant commitment. Qualified candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Nephrology. The completion of an AST/ASN-accredited Renal Transplant fellowship is preferred. It is expected that you will carry out your duties in a manner that will enhance high-quality clinical services, promote excellence in education and training programs, establish and expand resources and demonstrate leadership. Successful candidates will be expected to become an integral part of this dynamic team and will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Medicine at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
