We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, collaborative accounting professional to join Microsoft's Corporate Accounting organization. This Finance Director - Corporate Accounting role will partner closely with finance and business teams across the Company to drive our core close and financial review rhythms and provide technical accounting guidance on the financial statement impact of strategic business decisions. The Finance Director - Corporate Accounting role will also support Corporate Accounting leadership in external forums including the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council ("FASAC") and the Corporate Controllers Roundtable ("CCR") and actively participate in the accounting standard-setting process. This cross-functional, cross-Company role requires effective leadership and influence, executive presence in both written and verbal form, and the ability to partner effectively with senior business and finance leaders. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has the ability to work through ambiguity, proactively solve problems, and build robust partnerships. Responsibilities

Accounting IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
