Position: Human Resources Manager
Location - Port Washington, WI

Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced manufacturing company that thrives in servant leadership to support employee success. The HR team is seen as a key resource to support leaders and their teams.
Summary of position:
Human Resources Manager communicates and supports policies, programs and systems that support positive employee relations, development and retention. This position will build relationships with employees and supervisors in support of the implementation of Human Resources processes that enable company supervisors to plan, evaluate, develop and improve their human resource assets to optimize their contribution to the company's operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Coach and advise supervisors on core HR practices (training, coaching, discipline, and performance reviews).
  • Partner with the Training Facilitator to deliver new-hire orientation and support development efforts (career paths, counseling, outplacement, and exit interviews).
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, disputes, and performance/attendance concerns.
  • With the HR Director, develop and implement compliant policies and drive employee engagement and communications that reinforce company values.
  • Partner with the HR Generalist to strengthen recruiting, onboarding, retention, benefits administration, and HR/safety metrics reporting.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Solid base of knowledge and understanding of the human resources field and concepts as well as related administrative practices.
  • Positive interpersonal skills that build respect, trust, confidence and credibility.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills including writing, listening, or speaking.
  • Management and supervisory skills.
