Warehouse Worker - Forklift Depew, NY Pay : $21.00 per hour Job Summary The Warehouse Worker - Forklift is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including the receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, supplies, and finished goods. This role involves operating warehouse equipment, performing inventory verification, and completing shipping and receiving tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on warehouse experience, is comfortable operating a standup forklift, and can quickly contribute to operational efficiency while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. Job Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verify items against shipping documentation, and inspect for accuracy and damage. Operate a standup forklift and other warehouse equipment to move materials safely and efficiently. Pick, pack, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements. Use scan guns and warehouse systems to track inventory and update shipment records. Route materials and products to appropriate storage, staging, or inspection areas. Maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods using written and computerized systems. Assist with inventory control and organization within the warehouse. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support additional warehouse duties as assigned. Job Requirements and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of warehouse or related experience. Forklift certification preferred, with experience operating a standup forklift and electric pallet jacks. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and material handling processes. Experience using scan guns and warehouse management systems preferred. Basic computer skills are preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to job responsibilities.
