MRI Technologist - Full Time

Location: East Brunswick, NJ Schedule:




  • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM



  • Rotating Saturdays: 7:30 AM-1:00 PM (with a compensatory weekday off) Compensation: From $38/hr (based on 0-5 years of experience; final rate determined by experience, education, and operational needs)




About University Radiology

University Radiology is the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in New Jersey. With more than 180 Board Certified radiologists trained across all imaging modalities and subspecialties, we have been a trusted leader for over 60 years.

We staff, manage, and provide preliminary and final interpretations for hospitals, imaging centers, and other medical facilities, and serve as the academic radiology faculty for Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret more than 2.1 million radiology procedures annually.


Position Overview

We are seeking a full time MRI Technologist to join our East Brunswick imaging offices. This role involves performing high quality MRI studies while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and exceptional care.


Responsibilities


  • Perform MRI procedures using high field magnet systems



  • Work in or near specialized imaging equipment while adhering to all safety protocols




Qualifications


  • ARMRIT or ARRT(R)(MR) certification



  • CPR certification required



  • 2+ years of current MRI experience (Client equipment preferred)



  • High field magnet experience preferred



  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Compensation

Starting at $38/hr, based on industry standards for candidates with 0-5 years of experience. Final compensation is determined by multiple factors, including experience, education, and operational needs.
