Job Summary The Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all production, installation, and operational activities comply with established quality standards, procedures, and client requirements. This role combines quality assurance oversight with hands-on quality control activities, including inspections, audits, documentation review, and issue resolution. The QA/QC Specialist supports continuous improvement initiatives, promotes best practices, and works closely with management and field teams to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes. Job Responsibilities
Inspect procedures, specifications, methods, and results related to production and installation activities.
Perform quality control inspections to verify work meets required standards and specifications.
Review project and task documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to customer submission.
Ensure the most current corporate quality procedures and client installation standards are consistently applied.
Investigate, document, and support resolution of client quality complaints.
Evaluate new materials and methods prior to approval for field installation.
Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with regulations, standards, and quality requirements.
Provide responsive, flexible, and cost-effective customer-focused quality support.
Participate in demand planning activities and support effective scheduling processes.
Prepare and deliver timely reports and analysis of quality trends and findings to management.
Apply and promote quality assurance and quality control best practices across operations.
Comply with all safety rules, procedures, guidelines, company policies, and client requirements.
Deliver quality-related training and guidance to employees as needed.
Provide daily and weekly QA/QC updates to on-site management regarding quality issues and corrective actions.
Maintain quality issues and corrective actions within the Quality Management System (QMS).
Track updates, verification activities, and closeout documentation for all open quality issues.
Conduct visual inspections across assigned spaces and document findings.
Save and upload completed inspection checklists and reports into the QMS repository.
Job Requirements
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and quality control terminology, methods, and tools.
Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement.
Strategic, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to quality management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly.
Working knowledge of current process improvement and quality enhancement strategies.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to support organizational change.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.
Education
Work Experience
Minimum of five years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, process optimization, operations, or business management.
Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, Quality Engineer, or Quality Auditor are preferred.
