APPLY TODAY What You'll Do: Program robotic paths and behaviors for 6-axis robotic arms Integrate robotic systems with ROS/ROS2 frameworks Design learning pipelines for computer vision algorithms Design, build, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems and end effectors Integrate sensors and actuators while optimizing robotic system performance and accuracy Create user interfaces for robotic systems Conduct pilot studies and Design of Experiment (DOE) evaluations to benchmark system performance Generate technical reports and recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams from concept through completion Apply process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Train and mentor other engineers as needed Job Requirements What You'll Bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related engineering field 3-10 years of experience in robotics manipulation and computer vision 3+ years of experience with C++ and Python programming in Linux environments 3+ years of experience in robotic system integration, testing, and troubleshooting Experience with ROS/ROS2, robotic path planning, and sensor integration Understanding of Design of Experiment (DOE) principles and statistical process control Experience with version control systems such as Git Strong project management, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment Background in robotics, machine learning, deep learning, or reinforcement learning What Sets You Apart: Experience with Behavior Trees and MoveIt Experience with robotic hardware design and end effector development Proficiency with MCAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, or SolidWorks Knowledge of OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch Experience with JavaScript, React, web APIs, or SDKs Embedded Linux kernel development experience Additional project management experience Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check Overtime may be required based on business needs Ability to work in a hands-on lab environment required After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
