Position Summary: As a member of the Wiring team, the Lead Unit Engineer will be responsible for design and development of automotive wire harnesses using a focused and disciplined approach. Ownership of entire product development cycle of assigned part(s) including adherence to specification, quality, cost, weight and on time delivery. Additional Information: As a Wire Harness Engineer, you work in a team environment and your day is split between working with peers and customers to ensure the harness design meets all product design requirements. You spend a portion of your time conducting design reviews, managing components, and drafting or releasing prints. You also focus on feature development, reviewing products and vehicles, and analyzing potential failure modes all towards common project goals. Responsibilities

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience Requirements
Qualifications: Experience in low or high voltage wire harness design engineering Wire Harness Design Release Experience (3D development to 2D print release) Ability to Work as Part of Cross Functional Team Ability and Willingness to Travel Flexible on working locations, on or offsite Mentoring experience / skills, leading design engineering team Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting automotive electrical systems or wire harness design Experience with Capital XC 2D design 3D Design Experience Certifications / Licenses Equal Opportunity Employer
