This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Blue Origin is looking for a Technical Project Manager - Supply Chain Optimization to lead cross-functional projects that integrate data and processes within manufacturing operations to better align the business and increase productivity. This role sits within the Supply Chain Optimization & Technology team and partners with operations leaders, support organizations, and program teams across all Blue Origin products. You will directly influence company-level strategy and apply tactical manufacturing knowledge to improve how we build, track, and deliver.

This is not a single-program role - you will work across the full breadth of Blue Origin's operations portfolio, identifying opportunities to eliminate waste, standardize processes, and drive productivity at scale. You will have the rare opportunity to drive strategy and change at the company level. • Lead special projects focused on integrating processes within manufacturing operations to improve alignment and productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies for lead time reduction, shortage tracking, and tool consolidation across operations
  • Define input metrics for cross-functional teams that directly support manufacturing goals and link process adherence to operational outcomes
  • Design and document standard processes for teams to follow, clearly articulating how those processes impact operational performance
  • Train and coach teams on the importance of standard work, stable operations, and process discipline
  • Coordinate with data science and engineering teams to translate operational needs into project requirements and ensure timely delivery of solutions
  • Create compelling presentations and memos tailored to audiences ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership
  • Serve as a bridge between operations, support organizations, and program teams to drive alignment on shared goals
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication across multiple concurrent initiatives

  • B.S. in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or operational excellence
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional process improvement or integration projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging across organizational levels
  • Experience developing and documenting standard work or operational processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-complexity hardware
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Track record of influencing without authority across multiple teams and organizations
  • Experience with change management and training/coaching in operational environments
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification
  • Basic familiarity with data tools and dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
