The person will also be expected to utilize existing M&S tools to generate input into the data collection plan. This person will work closely with NGIC partners during the development of the study plan and the M&S tools required to support.

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to have a significant and lasting impact on the Army Intelligence Enterprise by building a novel framework upon which capabilities can be evaluated using authoritative data and validated M&S products. The selected candidate will merge expertise in operations research, M&S, intelligence, and team leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to develop and execute study plans, with an emphasis on multi-attribute decision making and value added analysis. Apply trade-off and sensitivity analysis to give options to decision-makers.

  • Collaborate with Army Intelligence organizations to establish key stakeholder priorities, to understand organizational and system level requirements, and to ensure the intelligence process is adequately represented.
  • Conduct cost assessments to inform feasibility studies, budgetary impacts of varying options, and inform trade-off space.
  • Prepare technical reports of the analytic effort, to include periodic progress reports, executive summaries, and a final report.
  • If residing in Charlottesville, VA, travel less than 10% may be required. If residing in Northern Virginia, travel up to 25% may be required, which includes routine travel to Charlottesville, VA.
