Job Summary: The Safety Team Lead assists in developing, implementing, and auditing safety policies to ensure regulatory compliance. Supports safety programs across locations, assists other safety professionals, and promotes a strong safety culture by advising field employees, management, and customers on safety and injury prevention. Collaborates with safety leadership in team oversight, including workload delegation, schedule management, mentoring, and quality control of staff work. Additionally, leads safety projects and resource management planning with field and project partners. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
- Familiar with Federal, State, and local Environmental Health & Safety regulations

Education and Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction, maintenance, safety, or operations is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in related industries, such as mechanical contracting or comparable commercial/industrial construction.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience with the ability to delegate and direct the work of others.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited degree program in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or related field of study, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Required:
- Must have a valid driver's license meeting company requirements.
- CHST or CSP Certification required.

Travel Requirements: Must be available to travel between multiple sites. Hours: This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs. - Ability to move or transport equipment up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods, often over various and uneven terrains.
- Use of hands and fingers for tasks such as tool use, equipment operation, and typing.
- Ability to inspect equipment in various positions/confined areas.
- Must be able to work in varying climate conditions, including heat and cold.
- Must be able to work safely at heights exceeding 20 feet and within permit-required confined spaces while wearing all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods.
