Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Enterprise IT Engineer to support a fast paced research and development organization within the Department of War (DoW). This senior engineering will work within the Chief Information Office and will be responsible for managing and delivering project-based infrastructure work, database refreshes, network migrations and various other ad hoc projects as assigned.



Responsibilities

    Manage and Deliver project - based infrastructure work
  • Conduct, organize and manage data-center refreshes
  • Oversee, managed and direct network migrations at all system levels, specific experience in supporting migration to/from DoDNet is required
  • Familiar with VDI, M365 tenant work
  • Responsible for the installation and integration fo new networks on all domains, NIPR, SIPR, JWICS and various SAP networks
  • Acquisition and employment of new software or services as identified organically or by the organization
  • Support for the development and deployment of performer enclaves on classified networks
  • Provide technical project management, oversight and tracking of multiple simultaneous projects
  • Coordinate and establish lease agreements with external service providers such as DISA, DIA, NRO and DARPA
  • Transition IT projects to Operations staff upon completion
  • Timely delivery of IT capabilities on schedule based on CIO priorities and road-map.
  • Responsible for the delivery of project plans, status updates, and technical documents and drawings, such as system design documents, integration plans, and accreditation documentation.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT infrastructure experience
  • Experience with DoDNet Migration
  • IAT LEVEL II (8140/8570 Certificate)
  • TS/SCI Clearance required; #qinetiqclearedjob


Preferred Qualifications

  • 15 years of experience
  • Master's Degree or higher in computer science
  • PMP Certificate
  • Azure or AWS solutions Architecture
  • CISCO Certification
  • Artificial Intelligence Certification (MSFT, AWS, GOOG)
  • TS/SCI w/ Poly preferred
