Essential Functions:

Core Values: Demonstrate TSTC's core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service, and Integrity in all interactions with stakeholders, customers, students, and community members.
Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and water supply systems.
Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
Building Access: Enter occupied and unoccupied buildings with appropriate accompaniment.
Equipment Management: Check out tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Vehicle Operation: Operate state vehicles and equipment safely.
Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to address facility needs while providing regular updates to their supervisor.
Physical Exertion: Perform physically demanding tasks requiring strength and frequent moderate lifting (30-60 lbs), often in awkward positions.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six years combined training in electrician trade, or 4 years with applicable license.
Journeyman or Master license and applicable Class A-D license(s).
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Valid Texas Driver's License and insurability under TSTC Liability Policy.

Working Conditions:

Exertion: Significant physical effort and strength required daily, often involving awkward postures and moderate lifting.
Exposure: Regular exposure to dust, grease, noise, inclement weather, and temperature extremes.
Risk:Occasional exposure to minor hazards controlled by safety precautions.

The Target Hiring Range for the position is $ 57,542 - $63,296

The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
