Purpose This position will provide exposure to all elements of a safety program in a manufacturing environment and an opportunity to engage with employees, assess hazards, and work to improve the safety culture of the plant. This position reports to the EHS Manager. II. Duties Assist in closing safety program gaps identified in program self-assessments. Facilitate risk assessments Assist in development of a safety team Participate in incident investigation events and root cause analysis. Conduct audits Developing or updating work instructions / JSAs Entering incident data in SAMS database Assist with BRI program improvements Develop or update training materials for various safety programs / topics.
