A Brief Overview
The Program Manager I is accountable for the coordination, administration and operational functions of one or more programs. This role may be accountable for managing relationships with vendors. Develops polices consistent with processes and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This level may also be responsible for contributing to or leading special projects. Project work could also involve data and reporting, creating training or communications related to the program(s). Works with general supervision.

What you will do

  • Monitor, assess, evaluate, and report metrics on the performance of the program.
  • Recommend improvements, updates, and changes to content, design, and facilitation of programs. Partner with Program Manager II, Program Manager III, and Leadership to implement and assess improvements.
  • Partner with Senior Program Managers to coordinate coordinated management of programs and projects, directed toward the achievement of common objective.
  • Manages cost, schedule, resources and other components of a project and operations to ensure successful delivery of the program
  • Support the planning and implementation of program events as applicable.
  • May be responsible for partnering on facilitation, design, and development with and guidance of Program Manager II, Program Manager III and/or Sr Manager, of program.
  • Responsible for stakeholder management both internal or external to CHOP
  • Evaluates, develops, markets and implements collaborative initiatives for patient population to promote supportive care programming. Supports planning and implementation of al programming (AYA, caregiver, child patients, siblings) including materials, RSVPs, etc.,
  • Collaborates and responsible for maintaining an ongoing relationship between internal and external stakeholders. Maintain communication with foundations,
  • Prepares ACS and other program grant application and reports
  • Provides resource orientation for new team member (including interns)
  • Oversees Psychosocial Screening Program
  • Maintains and updates program materials, website updates, and scholarship materials
  • Supports team communication and connection including SLI/Cancer Center Brave Spaces/staff wellness programs
  • Establishes contact to increase awareness, information resources, support programs and services, and other related needs. Attends key internal and external meetings and events.
  • With care coordinator, develops and implements sophisticated workflows and tools in order to track the use of resources, reconcile spending and report out to the Foundations and donors on resource usage and impact

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years Relevant work experience - Required
  • Pediatric Oncology, Behavioral, Social work experience preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. (Required proficiency)
  • Communicates with contacts typically within the department with matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation in order to reach agreement. (Required proficiency)
  • May work to influence parties within own job function at an operational level. (Required proficiency)
  • May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to CHOP (vendors, customers). (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to handle a portfolio of multiple projects with aggressive timelines. (Required proficiency)

  • Excellent relationship builder with highly collaborative, inclusive approach. (Required proficiency)
  • Experience managing external vendors / vendor relationships. (Preferred proficiency)

SALARY RANGE:

$89,840.00 - $114,550.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
