Overview

QuarterLine (QL), a Planned Systems International (PSI) company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX, within the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic (IPMC). This position plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional independence for active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.

    Duty Location: William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Ft. Bliss, TX (Interdisciplinary Pain Management Clinic). No Telework allowed.
  • Duty Hours: Monday - Friday, 0730 - 1630.


Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient care: examine, diagnose, treat, and prescribe within scope of practice.
  • Deliver preventive care and patient education, including health maintenance and self-care guidance.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate referrals and consultations as needed.
  • Supervise, train, and support other healthcare professionals, including teaching and in-service education.
  • Perform duties in accordance with clinical privileges, standards, and accepted protocols.
  • Maintain required credentials (active NPI and DEA registration) throughout service.


Minimum Requirements

  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.).
  • Education: Graduation from a medical school in the United States, Canada, or approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (AMA), graduation from a college of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or graduation from a medical school with evidence of Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification.
  • Internship/Residency/Fellowship: Completion of an accredited residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
  • Certifications: BLS
  • Board Certification: The DoD only recognizes certifications issued by boards that are members of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the AOA Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists. Board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR).
  • Experience: One year experience in the last two years prior to contract execution as a PM&R Physician. Time in residency does not count towards one year of experience.
  • Licensure: Contract workers requiring licensure shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license specific to the position (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider's practice to a military setting. The healthcare provider's license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract.
  • NPI and DEA registration and the Contractor shall ensure these are renewed/remain current throughout the performance on the contract.


Physical Demands

  • Contract workers must be capable of lifting overhead 20 pounds, bending repetitively, Twist/turn at waist without restriction, no difficulty grasping/pulling.


Additional Information

  • Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination.
  • Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A
  • Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
