The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that consumer loan files are accurate, and fully compliant with all regulations, policies and procedures, and that all closed files contain the proper loan support documentation and are correctly boarded to the LOS Servicing System. The Specialist will be cross trained within all areas of the Quality Assurance department.

Education and Experience Requirements:

* High school diploma/GED required. Some college preferred.
* Data entry experience.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

* Strong propensity for detail, accuracy and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
* Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Working knowledge of Windows, Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
* Knowledge and understanding of pertinent Consumer Loan documents, lending requirements and loan onboarding experience preferred.

Essential Functions:

* Conducts detailed post-closing reviews of Consumer Loans to verify data integrity and adherence to lending policies.
* Identifies Discrepancies: Reports missing signatures, incorrect dates on documents, payoff differences, etc. to proper channels.
* Processes loan disbursements and associated paperwork on both unsecured and secured loans.
* Maintains a follow-up schedule to ensure required corrective actions are completed and in compliance with lending policy, underwriting guidelines and federal, state and local regulations.
* Ensure that all Consumer loan documents are scanned into document image system(s), and collateral documents are shipped properly to the servicing unit.
* All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions.
