Product Designer (UX / Product Design) Remote - ET/CT Preferred ( preference on Austin , TX Candiates) We're seeking a strong generalist Product Designer to support highimpact digital initiatives. This role is ideal for designers who thrive in modern, AIenabled product environments and can independently drive design work endtoend with minimal oversight. What You'll Do * Own design projects from early discovery through final delivery * Turn ambiguous problems into clear, intuitive design solutions * Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and crossfunctional partners * Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI in Figma * Conduct lightweight user research and synthesize insights into design direction * Clearly communicate and defend design decisions using data and user context * Thoughtfully leverage AI tools to improve outcomes - not replace judgment What We're Looking For * 3+ years experience as a Product or UX Designer (5+ years for senior level consideration) * Strong Figma expertise * Experience working alongside engineers in modern tech stacks * Comfort working in or around coding environments (VS Code, GitHub, Cursor) * Familiarity with AIassisted design and development workflows * Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage priorities independently * Strong design literacy and the ability to evaluate work critically * Nice to Have * EdTech experience * Accessibility and inclusive design knowledge Additional Info * 100% remote (ET/CT time zones preferred) * Austin, TX based candidates welcome, but not required Portfolios should demonstrate thoughtful design decisions, problem solving, and initiative - not just polished screens. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
