Description Opportunity Summary - Project / Change Management Support Manager A TEKsystems client is seeking a toptier Project / Change Management Support Manager to partner closely with the CIO and IT leadership team to strengthen how IT communicates, plans, and delivers strategic initiatives. This is a parttime (30-32 hours/week), onsite role in Brentwood, TN. The ideal profile brings 10+ years of enterprise IT program leadership, PMP certification, experience with Agile / hybrid delivery models, and strong in change management, governance, and stakeholder alignment. This role is best suited for someone comfortable influencing without authority, working independently, and translating complex IT work into clear, actionable executive messaging. Top Skills Details program management,pmp certification,agile Daily Responsibilities * Partner directly with the CIO and SR. IT leaders to shape strategy and execution. * Perform handson analysis, documentation, and coordination work (this role does the majority of the legwork). * Facilitate discussions, working sessions, and alignment across stakeholders. * Track progress across initiatives, identify risks, and drive followthrough. * Translate strategy into actionable plans and communications that enable adoption. Additional Skills & Qualifications Formal Change Management (Prosci/ADKAR or equivalent): Support adoption of new IT communication strategies and redesigned work processes by guiding stakeholders through change impacts and transition plans. IT PMO / Portfolio Management Experience: Help introduce lightweight governance, prioritization, and visibility across CIOlevel initiatives without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. Agile / Iterative Delivery Models: Apply pragmatic Agile or hybrid delivery concepts to modernize IT intake and execution while fitting client's culture and maturity level. Facilitation & Workshop Leadership: Lead working sessions with IT leaders and business stakeholders to align on process design, roles, and responsibilities. ExecutiveLevel Writing & Presentation Skills: Create clear communications, artifacts, and updates for sr leadership and enterprise stakeholders. Required Education, Certifications, & Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience required. Formal certifications (PMP, Prosci, Agile, ITIL) preferred but not required if equivalent realworld experience is demonstrated. 10+ years of experience in IT project, program, or change management roles supporting enterprise IT organizations. Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Clevel or VPlevel leaders, preferably a CIO or IT executive. Key Attributes of Success Executive presence and credibility when working directly with sr leadership. Highly selfdirected; able to perform the majority of analysis, documentation, and coordination independently. Comfortable operating with influence rather than authority in a complex organization. Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to prioritize in ambiguous environments. Pragmatic, outcomeoriented mindset focused on improving how IT communicates, plans, and delivers.
