Lead Instructor, Musical Theater Camp

92NY Musical Theater is seeking strong musical theater instructors for our Musical Theater Summer Camp.

Lead Instructors in our Musical Theater Summer Camp must be able to teach classes in acting, voice, dance and choreograph/set production numbers.

Set, teach, and clean dance numbers, vocals, and scenes.
• Create an engaging and fun experience for our participants
• Work with Program Associate to devise short, narrative script and select songs.
• During rehearsals and at performances, assist with the run of the show.
• Keep students on task throughout the day.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Bachelors Degree in the Arts, Education or related field
• Experience directing and/or choreographing for children is required.
• 2+ years' experience working in a high-profile theater or creative arts organization.
• A demonstrable passion for musical theater education combined with at least 2 years of related teaching experience.

Monday to Friday from July 6^th to August 21^st, 10:00am-3:00pm (off 12:00-1:00 for lunch break).

Compensation Range

$40 - $50/hour

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of

education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
