Teaching Assistant, Musical Theater Camp

92NY Musical Theater is seeking strong musical theater teaching assistants for our Musical Theater Summer Camp.

The Teaching Assistants in our Musical Theater Summer Camp should be able to lead arts and craft classes, as well as review and clean performance numbers.

Learn blocking for scenes and dance numbers.
• Clean dance numbers, vocals, and scenes.
• Run rehearsal when Lead Instructor is off duty.
• During rehearsals and at performances, assist with the run of the show.
• Keep students on task in rehearsals.
• Lead arts and crafts activities.
• Check students in and out during drop-off and dismissal.
• Supervise lunch hour.
• Set up and clean up at the end of the day.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

• Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience working with children is required.
• 2+ years' experience working in a theater or creative arts organization.
• A demonstrable passion for musical theater education combined with at least 2 years of related experience.

Monday to Friday from July 6^thO to August 21^st, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Compensation Range

$20- $25/hour

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
