As a Security Officer Mobile Rounds in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support staff and visitors through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and driven by integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout government location buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access, assist with directional questions, and support orderly movement of people throughout the location.
• Communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or public personnel regarding incidents, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
